Welcome back to Purdue! We hope you enjoyed Winter break and are getting back into the school grind.

Are you interested in making video games? If you are then we are the student group for you.

We are a group of students dedicated to the development of video games. We
focus on building/developing games in a wide variety of languages and programs.
As well as marketing your self to the video game industry.

During the course of this year we will be completing our game and on top of completing our game we will be teaming up with Sig Graph and CGSC to have guest lecturers who have experience in the industry, numerous tutorials in 3D modeling, and more advanced topics if you are already familiar with game development and design.

The votes are in, and the majority of you want to go bowling. So, that's what we are going to do. We have the lanes reserved at 7. So, show up whenever and leave whenever. We will be ordering pizza from the union and will have drinks. Please email me if you have any questions.

Hey Everyone,

The Fall Bonanza is fast approaching. If you came to the Spring Bonanza
last year, we are going to be doing things a little differently this
time. We have joined forces with SIGGRAPH and CGSC to have one massive
party to usher in finals week.

What: Fall Bonanza (Details below)
Who: Game Developers United, Computer Graphics Student Council, ACM SIGGRAPH
When: Friday, December 10th, 7 pm - Midnight
Where: KNOY B029, B031, B033
RSVP REQUIRED

There will be free food and drink available, so come hungry. There will
also be plenty of video games to keep you entertained including Halo:
Reach, Rock Band, Worms Armageddon, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Mario
Party, and others.

We will be holding tournaments for Halo: Reach, Worms Armageddon, and
Forza 3 with COGENT prizes for the winners. Details will be provide on
the tournaments at the Bonanza.

If you wish to bring your own gaming system, a multiplayer game, and a
TV to the Bonanza, we strongly encourage it. We will find space for you
to set it up.

Finally, if you are planning to attend the Fall Bonanza, we need you to
RSVP via email so we can get a head count. If you also belong to
SIGGRAPH or CGSC, please ONLY RSVP TO ONE ORGANIZATION. This will allow
us to properly gauge how much food we need to buy.
